Metropolita Daniel z Akkry se v pátek 17. července 2026 na egyptské ambasádě v Akkře setkal s panem Waelem Fathym, velvyslancem Egyptské arabské republiky v Ghanské republice.

Během srdečného setkání předal velvyslanci pozdravy a přání všeho nejlepšího papeže a patriarchy Theodora II. Alexandrijského a celé Afriky. Vyjádřil také hlubokou vděčnost alexandrijského patriarchátu Jeho Excelenci prezidentovi Egyptské arabské republiky Abdel Fattah El-Sisi za jeho trvalou podporu a ochranu Alexandrijského apoštolského trůnu a jeho historické mise na celém africkém kontinentu.

Zvláštní důraz byl kladen na silná historická pouta přátelství a spolupráce mezi Egyptem a Řeckem a také na důležitou roli, kterou obě země hrají při podpoře mezináboženského dialogu, kultury a mírového soužití národů.
