In August, a delegation headed by Bishop Irenei will bring the myrrh-streaming ‘Hawaiian’-Iveron icon of the Theotokos to the Orthodox Church of Bulgaria for the first time.
At the invitation of Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria, the sacred icon will make its first visit to the Orthodox lands over a full two-and-a-half-week programme.
