I read the part where the mathematician says we should teach kids how to ask good questions and check answers instead of just grinding formulas. That makes sense to me. My older boy already uses ChatGPT for his homework, so we're trying to turn it into a tool rather than a crutch, like double-checking the recipe before it goes in the oven.

My eldest grandson is having a math olympiad this year, and he also started asking this thing for hints.
