Opat klasztoru Esphigmenou koncelebruje z metropolitą Epifaniyem w Kijowietłumaczenie

W dniu 12 lipca 2026 roku Archimandryta Bartłomiej, opat klasztoru Espigmenou na Górze Athos wraz z bractwem klasztornym koncelebrował Boską Liturgię z Metropolitą Kijowskim i całej Ukrainy Epifanii w kościele św. Michała Archanioła w Kijowie.

Po Boskiej Liturgii metropolita Epifaniy przyjął opata i ojców Atonitów w Metropolitan Residence, gdzie obie strony odbyły serdeczne spotkanie.

Podczas spotkania Prymas Cerkwi Prawosławnej Ukrainy wyraził serdeczną wdzięczność archimandrycie Bartłomiejowi i towarzyszącej mu delegacji za obecność w Kijowie w obliczu ciągłych wyzwań stojących przed krajem.

Metropolita Epifaniy podkreślił znaczenie tej wizyty, zauważając, że ojcowie atoniccy przynieśli przesłanie nadziei, udając się na Ukrainę pomimo obaw i trudności spowodowanych wojną.

„Wasza obecność tutaj przyniosła ogromną radość i zapewniła duchowe wsparcie wielu osobom, które codziennie poddawane są próbom” – powiedział metropolita Epifaniy.

W swojej odpowiedzi archimandryta Bartłomiej podkreślił centralne miejsce miłości chrześcijańskiej, cytując słowa Pisma Świętego: „Doskonała miłość usuwa strach”.

It's good to see monks from Athos coming all the way to Kyiv. The quote from Archimandrite Bartholomew about perfect love casting out fear is spot on, especially with everything that's going on.

I agree, that Scripture quote really lands when you think about the long trip they made.
