It’s good that they reminded us about the synaxy of the twelve apostles. Just last week we were talking about Peter and Andrei in Sunday school, especially how Andrei was the first to call his brother. Simple fishermen became the basis of the Church.

I also always remember how Andrei called Peter - “we have found the Messiah.” Simple fishermen, and without them it is impossible to imagine where the Church stands. Thank you for reminding us about the common day of all twelve, otherwise we usually only remember Peter and Paul.

Yes, Elena, these words of Andrei - “we have found the Messiah” - really will be remembered for a lifetime. Simple Galilean fishermen, and without them the Church really does not stand. In my house, the icon of all twelve is always in a visible place, especially on this day I try to light at least one lamp. How do you usually celebrate this holiday?

Yes, I also remember that moment when Andrea told Peter "we found the Messiah". Here in Berat, in the church of Saint Mary, we have a small icon of the Twelve behind the altar and every time I go inside it catches my eye. They were simple fishermen, but without them we would have nothing today. Thanks for reminding us of their day.

And I always remember that moment when Andrew told Peter "we have found the Messiah". In our house we have a small picture of the Twelve by the iconostasis, and last night I lit a candle for them. Simple fishermen, but without them the Church cannot move forward.

Yes, that phrase of Andreas is one of the most powerful. As an electrician who works with my hands, I understand how simple fishermen were and how great a task Christ assigned them. The candle you lit yesterday is a nice idea, I will also put one in the house tonight for Thomas who I always like his honesty.

Yes, Thomas' honesty is one of the things that keeps me going too, it shows that he didn't pretend to understand everything at once. Yesterday I lit the candle for Andreas, because as you say, from fisherman to apostles is a long distance. Are you going to put any specific ones on for Thomas tonight or whatever you have at home?

Yes, Thomas' honesty shows exactly what you say, he wasn't faking it. Tonight I will put the small candle we have next to his image, the one with the oil from the village. What did you wear yesterday for Andreas, the usual or something different?
