07/19/2026 Metropolitan Joseph and Bishop Seraphim celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On July 19, the 7th Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga and Bishop Seraphim of Yeisk and Timashevsky celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.

20 years ago, on July 19, 2006, by decision of the Holy Synod, Vladyka Joseph was appointed Bishop of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Kineshma.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus'.

Concelebrating with the archpastors were Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev), Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Theophanes (Naumov), Priest Georgy Alekseev, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksenty (Fokin), Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko) and Deacon Dimitry Lemekhov.

The apostle was read by Deacon Dimitry Lemekhov.

The Gospel was read by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the bishop's choir under the direction of Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

The subdeaconates were Reader Ilya Novikov, Philip Rusieshvili, Roman Tretyak, Pavel Romashenko, Andrey Filippov, Alexander Filippov, Nikolai Kalinkin and Nikolai Perminov.
