It’s interesting how the Brest Cathedral still resonates in our countries. Here in Sofia we often remember those events at lectures in church, especially when we talk about union. It’s a pity that I couldn’t go, but it’s good that the conference brought together people from different Slavic Churches.

Интересно, что на конференции были представители из разных Slavic Церквей — наверное, много полезного обсудили. Therefore, this item should not be taken into account beforehand. вроде меня.

Брестский собор 1596-га was a difficult moment for us Orthodox, especially when we talk about preserving the faith without joining Rome. Good that the conference in Brest gathered people from different Slavic churches and spoke openly about that history. In Berat, in our church, we sometimes mention it when we read the lives of the saints who remained faithful.

Yes, Sofia, what you say about keeping the faith without joining Rome is true. At the Brest conference, they also spoke about the monks and believers who did not accept Uniatism, as Saint Joseph of Volokolamsk did later. In Berat you have it closer, we in Tirana rarely mention it in catechism classes, but I like that you connect it with the lives of the saints. Do you have any concrete examples from your church?
