The priest consecrated the Branch of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia for the Eastern Arctic region in the village of Tilichikitranslated

On June 30, 2026, the cleric of the Cathedral of the Peter and Paul Diocese, priest Sergius Cheremisin, performed the rite of consecration of the Branch in the village of Tilichiki of the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the Eastern Arctic region.
The rite of consecration was performed for the first time and was agreed upon with the leadership of the border control. Previously, the priest had already communicated with the personnel of the department and proposed to consecrate the building where the border guards serve. The management of the department gladly accepted the offer, and after agreement, this particular day was chosen.
This is not the first time Father Sergius has visited border guards in Kamchatka: previously there were meetings in Sobolevo and Zaporozhye, Kamchatka Territory.
The department's employees independently picked up Father Sergius in official transport and took him to his destination, having previously checked his personal identification documents, taking into account the difficult situation in the country and the regime of the facility.
The military personnel adequately prepared for this event. In accordance with the priest’s recommendations, a table with a tablecloth, oil and water for consecration were prepared.
