Pre-stage trip to the place of practice of Agios Simeon Stylitostranslated

In the context of the Week of Light events "Light from Aleppo" and on the occasion of the feast of Saint Simeon of Stylitos, which the Church celebrated yesterday, September 1, the Metropolis of Verroia and Alexandretta organized a pilgrimage to the Monastery of Saint Simeon of Stylitos in the area of Mount Simeon, entitled "Footprints of Saint Simeon". The program included a visit to the Ascension Pillar of the Saint and a prayer in which all the heads of the Christian denominations of Aleppo were present. After the ceremony, the event was concluded with a spiritual sermon by the pastor of the Diocese, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Berroia, Mr. Ephraim.

This pilgrimage was distinguished by the participation of the Theophilist Bishop of Tarsus, Mr. Pavlos, as well as the priests of the Diocese of Berroia, together with a number of invited priests and deacons, and a large number of members of the Diocese and other Christians of Aleppo.
