Thank God that Metropolitan Savva was there and consecrated the monument. Our older son served in a similar unit, so this is particularly close to me. May they all be healthy and peaceful.

Thank you for the message. It's nice that the memorial was consecrated right in the unit where the young guys serve. My older son also spent a year in a similar environment, so I know how important it is to have something there that resembles peace and protection.

My older boy did his service in a unit just like that one up near Vologda. Good to see the monument blessed right there where the young guys can see it every day. Praying it brings them some real peace.

My eldest son served in a unit near Vologda a few years ago, so it touches me to see the môleben and the blessing of the monument right there where young people pass every day. I hope this brings them some calm in the middle of the exercises. Thanks for the article.

My eldest son did his service near Vologda a few years ago, it must be funny to see a blessed monument right next to the parade ground. At home in Toulouse we blessed a small chapel in a barracks last year, the young people seemed happy to have a quiet corner. Did your son tell you if they sometimes talked about faith during the service?

Metropolitan Savva consecrated the monument right in the unit where the guys serve - this is good. My brother-in-law also once served near Vologda, and he says such things are really memorable. Thanks for the news.

I was happy to see that Metropolitan Savva consecrated the monument right in the unit, next to the training ground. My daughter has a colleague whose brother served in the army near Vologda two years ago and he said that any prayer sign there counts. Good luck and peace to all the boys.

My older boy did his service in a unit just like that one up near Vologda a few years back. Nice to hear the monument got blessed right there where the guys see it every day during drills. Hope it gives them a bit of quiet in the middle of it all.

My son Michal served in a similar unit three years ago, so I know what it's like there every day. It's nice that Metropolitan Savva consecrated the m monument right in the barracks, where the boys see it during exercises. Let it bring them at least some peace.

I agree, Jana, it's good if the boys have something right in the barracks to remind them that they are not alone. My son was also in the garrison near Brno for a year and he said that such things help to keep his head calm. How long did your elder serve there?

Metropolitan Savva consecrated the monument right in part - this is the case. My brother-in-law also served near Vologda at the beginning of the 2000s, he said that even a simple cross on the parade ground makes you look at training differently. It's good that the guys see him every day.

Yes, Stepan, you are correct. When you pass by such a monument every day, it fits into your head differently. My husband also served at one time and said that even a simple icon in the barracks already strengthens discipline. What unit was your brother-in-law in near Vologda?
