With particular splendor, the parish Church of Agia Varvara, Tripoli, worshiped and welcomed the Holy Icon of Panagia Tricheroussa yesterday afternoon, Saturday, July 4, 2026. The reception was held in front of the Holy Church with the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epiphanius and priests of the Metropolis presiding.

Afterwards, the Metropolitan established the holy icon and placed it in a marble shrine, so that it is now a place of blessing and pilgrimage.

Afterwards, a Solemn High Priestly Vespers was held, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria Mr. Epiphanios and with the participation of the priests of the local Church.

In his sermon, the Metropolitan emphasized that God reveals himself and bestows His blessings on those who live with purity, obedience and a spiritual life. He thanked the vicars of the Church, the Ecclesiastical Council and the partners of the parish for the transfer of the Holy Icon of Panagia Tricherousa to the parish, fulfilling the wish of blessed father Ioustinos Tsagouris.
