Volokolamsk Antonios and Bostron Timotheus co-labored in Limassoltranslated

Yesterday, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, Mr. Antonios, and the Metropolitan of Bostro, Mr. Timotheus, Exarch of the Holy Sepulcher in Cyprus, celebrated at the church of Agios Nikolaos in Limassol. The liturgy was held on the occasion of the feast of the Consecration of the Icon of the Mother of God of Kazan.
The Divine Word was preached by the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk Mr. Antonios.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the President of the Department of External Ecclesiastical Relations of the Russian Church, following the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow Kirill, awarded the head of the church, Archpriest Pavlos Povaliaev - on the occasion of his 50th birthday - the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov (3rd degree).
Subsequently, the two Hierarchs had a meeting during which they discussed issues of mutual interest with Metropolitan Mr. Antonios conveying to His Holiness Mr. Timotheus the heartfelt wishes of the Patriarch of Moscow Cyril.
