Symis Chrysostomos: Holiness is achieved in every era only within the Churchtranslated

On July 12, 2026, Sunday of Matthew VI, Rev. Metropolitan of Symi, Mr. Chrysostomos officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the I. Metropolitan Church of the Holy Forerunner of Symi, with co-celebrants the General Hierarchy Commissioner, Protopr. Fr. Stefanos Makri, Vicar of the Church and Hierodeacon Fr. Pavlos Terezakis. The first hymn was sweetly performed by the Hieropsaltes Mr. Demosthenes Giannaras after the son of Mercury and Mr. Nikolaos Kambylis, with others.

Among the many believers, the Great Benefactor of the Holy Metropolis and Archon Exarch of the Holy Great Church of Christ, His Eminence Mr. Athanasios Martinos, who is currently in Symi, attended the church.

Rev. Pastor Mr. Chrysostomos, as a hospitable host, welcomed Mr. Martinos, expressing once again the rightful praise of the Church, as well as his personal thanks for his invaluable support to our local Church, offering him, as a blessing, a small iconography of our Grand Master Michael of Panormitou.
