The Metropolitan Ioustinos of Kalamaria, at the commemoration events for the Turkish invasion of Cyprustranslated

In the commemorative events, held on Sunday, July 5th, in Kalamaria, on the occasion of the Turkish invasion of the martyred mega-island of Cyprus, in July and August 1974, the familiar Pastor Mr. Ioustinos participated, with the honorable presence of the temporary resident in Kalamaria, the Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete Mr. Eugenios. Thus, he performed the High Priestly Trisay in the grove dedicated to the victims of the Turkish invasion, near the holy Chapel of Saints Alexander and Modestos.
Afterwards, he attended the special event dedicated to Cyprus, which took place in the Square of Refugee Hellenism, in the center of Kalamaria.
The Archbishop of Crete, Mr. Eugenios, the representative of the Republic of Cyprus, Minister of the Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou, the relevant Pastor, Mr. Ioustinos, the Mayor of Kalamaria, Ms. Chrysa Arapoglou and the representatives of the Cypriot Associations attended and addressed the event.
