The series of talks "Orthodox Logos" of the Holy Metropolis of Belgium, has the special honor of inviting you to an excellent talk, which will take place at the Ambiorix Orthodox Center (Square Ambiorix 2 – 1000 Bruxelles – Métro Schuman), on Monday 28 September 2026 at 19:30.

The speaker will be Archimandrite Ephraim Triantafyllopoulos, Archdeacon of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotido.

The title of his talk is: "The Benefits of Confession."

The lecture will be held in French.

Looking forward to this. I’ve always found confession brings a real sense of relief, like finally putting down a heavy bag after a long shift. Shame it’s in French though – might have to brush up before the 28th.

It is interesting that the lecture is about the benefits of confession. I also always feel like I'm taking a heavy bag off my shoulders, as Luke said. It is a pity that it is in French, because there are many of our people in Brussels who would also listen. Maybe there will be a recording later?

I'm looking forward to it, Archimandrite Ephraim always speaks with a lot of common sense. The heavy bag comparison that Luke and Людмила made is exactly how I feel after each confession. Too bad about the language, but I'll note the date in my diary and maybe I'll take a French-speaking friend from the neighborhood.
