It is interesting that the emphasis was placed on the transition from simple transfer of knowledge to live experience. In our parish, I also notice that young people respond better when they don't just talk about faith, but when they do something together - for example, we bake prosphora or clean the garden near the church. And were there any practical examples of how to do this with teenagers at this congress?

Yes, Khrystyna, you are right - when young people just listen, they get bored quickly, but the common cause is immediately different. In our parish, after such joint cleaning or baking prosphora, boys and girls themselves begin to ask about the meaning of what we are doing. And tell me, how exactly do you bake prosphora with teenagers - do you involve them in the whole process, or only in the last stage?

Yes, working together really does make a difference. In our parish, after such cleanings, the boys themselves also begin to ask why we do it. Do you and your teenagers bake prosphora from the very kneading of the dough, or are you only engaged in decoration?

Yes, Khrystyna, a common cause really affects more than just a story. Here, after the young people helped to weave covers for church tables, they themselves began to ask why such patterns and what they mean. And at that congress, it seems, they talked about such examples as joint pilgrimages on foot or master classes on Easter egg painting - maybe one of your priests also went?
