Announcement of Scholarships of the Holy Metropolis of Stagios and Meteoratranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Stagion and Meteora, through the Metropolitan Academy of Theological and Historical Studies of Agios Meteora, demonstrating special pastoral care for the Students and in general the youth of our Metropolis, announces ten (10) scholarships to the Students who competed during the national exams of the school year 2025-2026, and who will be admitted to higher educational Institutions of the country. Each scholarship is equivalent to the amount of 3,000 euros, and aims to cover various financial needs of the successful students (such as rent, food, accommodation, etc.).

The right to submit an application is available to all Students competing in the nationwide exams, who meet the following prerequisite criteria:

1st: reside permanently within the boundaries of the Holy Metropolis of Stagion and Meteora, regardless of the School they attend,

2nd: were born after 1.1.2005,

3rd: they are then enrolled in the highest educational institution of their admission.

The selection of the beneficiaries who will receive the scholarship is made by scoring according to the following:

a. The sum of the score of the four (4) nationally examined courses of each Student...

Hello, congratulations to the Metropolis for this concrete initiative. 3000 euros covers rent and board for a whole year at college, just what the guys who come from the area need. My son is graduating from high school this year, so we'll check to see if he fits those criteria with the date of birth and residence.

A good thing, especially for the guys from our region. 3000 euros - this will really help with housing and food in the first year. My cousin’s son is just taking Panhelladic exams this year, let’s see if he will fall under the date of birth after 2005.

The date of birth after January 1, 2005, I think it catches him exactly, but also check if the address in the bulletin is within the Metropolis, because that matters the most for the score. Hi Marius, well said, 3000 euros really helps a lot at the beginning of college. What profile is your son taking the exam? I have a nephew who received a scholarship two years ago and managed to rent well in Volos. Also carefully check the score on the baccalaureate average, because that is where the most points are collected.

Hi Marius, 3000 euros really comes in time for rent and food, especially if the boy ends up at a college further away from home. What major does your son want to major in? I have a student from the area who took it two years ago and it was enough for her for the first few months of adaptation.
