AUTh strengthens the Greek language education of the Community in the USAtranslated

With the aim of preserving and spreading the Greek language in the Hellenistic diaspora communities, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki implemented a pioneering training program for teachers of the Greek diaspora in the United States. Harnessing the power of children's literature, music and dance as modern pedagogical tools, the program highlighted new, experiential approaches to teaching the Greek language, connecting language learning with cultural identity and Greek tradition.
The program, entitled "Children's Literature, Song and Dance: Innovative Teaching Approaches for the Teaching of the Greek Language" was implemented during the period from March to June 2026 and is the result of the collaboration of the Department of Preschool Education and Education of Aristotle University with the Department of Greek Education of the Holy Archdiocese of America, based in New York.
