If the church is like our simple house in Gjirokastra, it is enough to have good light inside and a dry corner to light the candle without getting wet. We don't need marble, but to make you feel at home when you enter.

Yes, I agree with Vangjel. Here in Constanța, I saw a small old stone church, without beams, but the sun came in through the high windows and it was so quiet that you felt you could sit and read a prayer like at home. Marble does not make the soul rest, but light and simplicity.
