In addition to offering perspectives from Cuba and Venezuela, the webinar will explore how the ecumenical movement can make a renewed commitment to international law mechanisms.

The webinar is second in a series on regional trends with global impact and perspectives in the ecumenical movement.

Webinar discussions will serve as inputs for the upcoming Joint Biennial Conference of the WCC Commissions and Reference Groups for Life, Justice, and Peace, to be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 4-10 October.

It’s interesting that they take Cuba and Venezuela specifically. What about international law regarding blockades or sanctions that stifle ordinary people there? Let's see what they say at the webinar on July 16.

I wonder why they choose Cuba and Venezuela when so many countries have problems with international law. Those sanctions that hit ordinary people also deserve to be clearly discussed, not just the perspectives of governments. I will watch the July 16th webinar to see what they say.

The article says they will look at international law in Cuba and Venezuela, but makes no mention of the sanctions that are weighing on ordinary people there. This is the first that comes to mind. I'll see what they say on July 16th, maybe they'll touch on it.

What surprises me is that Cuba and Venezuela are singled out, and there is no mention of the sanctions that affect ordinary people there the most. That should be part of the conversation about international law, right? I'll see what they say on July 16th.

I'm also surprised that they chose Cuba and Venezuela, and they don't say a word about the sanctions that are affecting ordinary people there. If they talk about international law, they should also see how it affects their daily lives. I will try to follow the July 16th webinar to hear what they have to say.
