It’s good that such meetings are held at the traffic police. Father Igor spoke about values for young people - this is correct, especially for those who work on the roads. Did you ask any questions?

Анна Волкова
Yes, there were questions, mainly about how to instill these values in the family from childhood, so as not to be reckless later on the road. Father Igor explained well that faith is not just words, but the habit of acting according to conscience every day. In our choir we also have such conversations after the service.

Хорошо, что в ГАИ такие встречи устраивают. Особенно важно, что отец Игорь про совесть каждый день говорил — именно это и нужно тем, кто за рулём. У нас в хоре после службы тоже часто про то же самое беседуем, как Анна написала.

Yes, it's good that such meetings are also held during the training of those from GAI. I liked what Father Igor said about conscience as a daily habit, not just words - exactly what drivers need. In our parish, after the service, we discuss about the same thing with the young people who come to the mechanics workshop.

Good point about the conscience part — that really hits home for anyone behind the wheel. My nephew just started driving lessons and I keep reminding him the same thing: a clear conscience keeps you sharper than any gadget. Do you find those post-service talks in the choir actually change how people act during the week?
P
Peter Evans
Yes, those choir talks do seem to stick with some folks. I remember one fellow who used to rush through traffic after liturgy but started slowing down and letting people in once we discussed how a troubled conscience clouds your judgment on the road. Have you noticed your nephew paying more attention since you brought it up?
