A year ago, the head of the Belgorod Metropolitanate consecrated the foundation stone of the church. It is being built within walking distance from an area of ​​compact residence of blind and visually impaired Belgorod residents. Builders have already begun roofing work, which was briefly interrupted while the bells were consecrated. This will be the first church in the region with tactile carved icons and inscriptions underneath them in raised dotted font, so that the blind can study them with their hands.
