That's fascinating — a Romanian Cyrillic acathist book ending up in a Belarusian monastery library. Saint Sofian was the abbot at Antim in Bucharest; I wonder how his personal copy made the journey there.

That's interesting, Paul. I didn't know Saint Sofian used Romanian Cyrillic editions; must have been from the older generation before the switch to Latin script. Any idea how the book travelled from Bucharest all the way to Lavrichevo?

Yeah, the old Cyrillic Romanian printings were common before the 1860s switch. I wonder if a pilgrim or a monk who knew him brought it there after 2002; Lavrichevo has taken in quite a few Romanian books over the years.
