Texas House honours Romanian robotics team for world championship performance

The performance of the AICitizens robotics team from “Al. I. Cuza” National College in Focșani, Romania, at the FIRST Robotics World Championship has been recognised through an official resolution of the Texas House of Representatives in the United States.
The team announced on its official Facebook page that it had received formal congratulations from the office of State Representative Mihaela E. Pleșa, the first Romanian-American elected to the Texas Legislature.
The resolution notes that the team earned fourth place at the FIRST Robotics Championship , held in Houston from 29 April to 2 May, and highlights the outstanding results achieved by Romanian teams at the competition.
The document also acknowledges the team’s educational and community outreach activities, stating that AICitizens “was created to prepare younger generations of innovators for the technological challenges of the future.”
The Texas House of Representatives further recognised that the members of AICitizens “have showcased their extraordinary talent and dedication on a global stage, and they will cherish the memory of this accomplishment for years to come.”
