On July 10, at the branch of the city library No. 1, an hour of spirituality entitled “Love and fidelity lives on through the centuries” was held for members of the amateur association “Lira” and active readers. The cleric of the Transfiguration Cathedral of Smorgon, Priest Alexander Deshuk, was invited to the event.

The reason for the meeting was the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, which the Orthodox Church celebrated the day before. The priest told those gathered about the life of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom and reminded that the commemorated saints show us by their example how to live in love and harmony, bearing each other’s burdens and thereby fulfilling the law of Christ.
