An employee of the press service of the Simbirsk diocese became a finalist in the “Explore the Scriptures 2026” competitiontranslated

On July 15, the online final of the All-Russian youth video blogging competition “Explore the Scriptures 2026” took place.
The 20 best works made it to the finals of the competition, including a video by Anastasia Khurtina, a member of the press service of the Simbirsk diocese, in the nomination “Gospel. My meeting with God.”
Hegumen John (Rubin), deputy chairman of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis, and Priest Andrei Filonov, head of the Laboratory of Creative Orthodox Initiatives “St. Tatiana Will Help,” cleric of the Church of the Martyr Tatiana at Moscow State University, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
Hegumen John (Rubin) thanked the contestants for their sincerity and willingness to share their living experience of studying the Holy Scriptures.
The host of the final was the ambassador of the competition, Orthodox video blogger Maxim Pavlyk. He described in detail how the selection took place at the first stage: after checking for compliance with technical requirements, the works were sent to an independent jury.
Each application was evaluated by a group of three experts: a priest, an Orthodox video blogger and a biblical scholar. Among the key criteria were content, presentation, depth of topic, script, editing, quality and, of course, ability...
