That procession with St. Kyriaki’s relics in Huși looks powerful. Nice to see the kids at Schela Nouă camp too — our parish does something similar every summer and the little ones always come back talking about it for weeks. The blood drive with Patriarch Porfirije is a good reminder that faith shows up in practical ways.

I stopped at the picture of the procession from Huși, the relics of Saint Chiriachi are clearly visible and the people were gathered nicely. The children from the Schela Nouă camp are like ours, two of mine went to a similar camp last year and didn't keep quiet for a week. Patriarch Porphyry donating blood is a simple and good gesture, I like it.

Yes, the procession from Husi really looks good, I also saw the relics clearly in the picture. My children were at the Schela Nouă camp two years ago and they were still talking about games and prayers in the evening. Patriarch Porfirie always makes practical gestures, that's how he is.

That procession in Huși really does look powerful. Our parish took a group to venerate St. Kyriaki’s relics a few years back and the quiet reverence from everyone stuck with me. Good point about the blood drive too — reminds me how our men’s group organized one last fall after Divine Liturgy and we had a line out the door.

I remember venerating St. Kyriaki’s relics myself at a small chapel in California a couple summers ago — the line moved so slowly because folks kept stopping to pray longer than they planned. Did your men’s group do the blood drive right in the parish hall?

Yes, I also stopped at the Husi procession, the relics are very clearly visible and the world seemed peaceful, not crowded. My grandchildren haven't arrived at the Schela Noua camp yet, but last year we made a short visit to a monastery together and they talked all the way back. What camp did your family do last year, in the mountains or at home?

Yes, the procession from Huși turned out beautifully, I also saw how the crowd moved around the relics. My children haven't reached Schela Nouă yet, but this summer I'm taking them to the camp in Roman, to "Small steps, big faith", I hope they like it just as much. Patriarch Porphyry really sets an example through simple deeds, not just words.
