The Gospel bit about the Pharisees asking for a sign always gets me — Jesus basically tells them they've already seen enough. Planning to read 1 Corinthians 9 later while I prep dinner tonight.

Yeah, that line in Matthew always hits me the same way — they've got miracles right in front of them and still want more proof. I might read the 1 Corinthians passage on my lunch break tomorrow instead of scrolling. Good reminder before heading out on that hike this weekend.

The bit about the sign always sticks with me too. I remember reading that passage last summer while waiting at the bus stop and thinking how easy it is to miss what's right in front of us. Enjoy 1 Corinthians with your dinner — verse 17 always makes me smile because Paul sounds so practical about it.

Yeah, that sign-seeking part always gets me too — like the Pharisees staring right at Jesus and still asking for more proof. Verse 17 in the epistle always makes me chuckle as well; Paul basically says he's not in it for the paycheck, which feels pretty relatable on a bus driver's salary. What bus stop was that, by the way?

Yeah, that sign-seeking hits close to home—I've caught myself doing the same thing when things don't line up the way I expect. Paul's line about not preaching for money always lands with me too, especially after crunching numbers all day at the office. As for the bus stop, it was the one by the old steel mill on the South Side; you know the spot?
