On July 3, Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a requiem meeting was held in Uzden Victory Park. The event was attended by Archpriest Dean of the Uzda Church District Grigory Cherepennikov.

There were words of gratitude to the heroes who defended the country in difficult years of trials, and reflections on the importance of preserving historical memory for future generations.

Participants honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence, and then a bell rang in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul - a symbol of memory of the heroes of the past.
