Opportunity for friendship and confession: National Camp "Tradition and Innovation" 2026 in the Metropolis of Banattranslated

The Archdiocese of Arad hosted, between June 29 and July 4, 2026, the edition organized at the level of the Banat Metropolitanate of the "Tradition and Innovation" National Camp - part of the National Youth Camps Program of the Romanian Patriarchate.

The activity brought together 35 young people in the Arada resort of Moneasa, together with 10 priests and volunteers from the diocese. On the penultimate day of the camp, a delegation from the Department of Catechesis and Youth Activities of the Diocese of Caransebeș, led by Father Inspector Mihai Ciucur, the coordinator of the department, also joined.

In the opening, Father Tiberiu Ardelean, Advisor to the Cultural Sector of the Archdiocese of Arad, officiated, together with clerics from the diocese, a Te Deum service at the "Holy Trinity" Archbishop's Cathedral in Arad. The prayer was followed by the departure of the participants to Moneasa.
