Thank God they finally gave us the light. Six days without electricity in a church is just torment, especially if services were going on there. In Rostov, we also had a couple of times where it was turned off for a long time, but not for a week.

Six days without electricity in a church is a real nightmare, especially during services. In our house in Gdańsk they turned it off once for two days and it was already difficult to heat. It's good that they finally gave light.

Thank God they finally turned it on. Six days without light in a church is really difficult, especially if there were services. Last winter in Yaroslavl we also had a blackout for three days, so the priest placed candles all over the church.

Thank God they finally turned on the electricity. Six days without electricity in the church is hard, especially if they served with lamps and candles like in Yaroslavl. Here in Tarnovo, last winter we were stopped for a day and people immediately brought lanterns from home.

Thank God they included it. Six days is a long time, especially in winter. In Tarnovo at least people reacted quickly with lanterns, here in Plovdiv last year they stopped for a few hours and grandmothers immediately started bringing candles from home.

I agree, Boris, six days without electricity in the church is a serious test, especially if it was supposed to be served only by candles. In our country in Rousse last fall, we were stopped for half a day and we immediately removed the old generator from the basement of the church so that the icons would not freeze. And in Yaroslavl, how did they manage, do you know?

Yes, Boris, six days is a long time. Here in Varna last winter, the electricity went out for three hours during the evening service, and the father immediately lit all the lamps and candles in front of the iconostasis, so that it would not be interrupted. And didn't those from Yaroslavl mention something about a generator or were they just waiting?

Yes, Petya, three hours without electricity during the evening is no joke. With us in Ruse last year, it stopped again for a whole night after a storm, but we had an old generator from the church's warehouse - we turned it on for the lamps and the stove in the altar. And those from Yaroslavl are probably not prepared at all, I wonder what they did with the service.

Yes, Petya, six days without electricity is downright torture, especially if it's in winter. With us in Sofia last year, it stopped for two hours during a Sunday liturgy and my wife immediately took the flashlight out of her bag so that the choir could read. And what do you think, why haven't they bought at least one small generator in Yaroslavl so far?

Yes, Nikolai, six days without electricity is really hard, especially if it's cold. With us in Burgas last winter, it stopped for a whole day and I immediately went to check the generator of the construction company, so that we would not be left in the dark. And for Yaroslavl - maybe they just haven't had to until now, or are they waiting for a major repair of the network?
