Le mercredi 8 juillet 2026, jour où l'Église honore la mémoire du Saint Glorieux Grand Martyr Procope, le Très Révérend Métropolite de Corinthe, M. Pavlos, après la fin de la Divine Liturgie à la Chapelle Métropolitaine d'Agia Photini la Samaritida à Corinthe, a célébré le Trisagio pour le repos de l'âme de son défunt père spirituel du bienheureux Métropolite de Philippes, Neapolis et Thassos Kyros Prokopios. (Tsakoumakas). Feu M. Prokopios occupait une place particulière dans le cœur du révérend M. Pavlos, car il était son père spirituel et son guide, contribuant de manière décisive au cours de son ministère sacerdotal et ecclésiastique.

En début d'après-midi du même jour, Son Éminence s'est rendue au 1er cimetière de Corinthe, où il a célébré le Saint Trisagion sur la tombe de son défunt prédécesseur, le métropolite de Corinthe M. Prokopius (Tzavara), honorant la mémoire du bienheureux Hiérarque, qui a servi avec zèle et abnégation dans le sanctuaire apostolique métropole de Corinthe.

May his memory be eternal. It’s nice to see Metropolitan Paul honoring both his spiritual father, the late Prokopios of Philippi, and his predecessor here in Corinth on the same saint’s day. Two Trisagia in one afternoon shows real gratitude.
