Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass took part in the celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the Kamensk diocesetranslated

On July 8, the celebration took place in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky. In 2026, 15 years have passed since the formation of the Kamensk diocese of the Yekaterinburg Metropolis.

Also, July 8 is the day of remembrance of St. Dalmatian of Iset, the heavenly patron of the city. It was the monks of the Dalmatovsky monastery who founded the first settlement on the site where Kamensk-Uralsky stands.

The holiday began with the meeting of the icon of St. Dalmatian of Iset on Cathedral Square near the Holy Trinity Cathedral, then a festive service took place in the open space.

The Divine Liturgy was led by: Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Eugene, Metropolitan of Chelyabinsk and Miass Alexy, Bishop of Kamensky and Kamyshlovsky Methodius, Bishop of Serov and Krasnoturinsky Feognost, Bishop of Alapaevsky and Irbitsky Sergius.

After the Liturgy, a festive concert and a field kitchen were organized on the square near the Trinity Cathedral.
