I am glad that Bishop Saba is returning to Ontario. Our compatriots there must have been waiting a long time for him. Will he serve in any of the churches in Toronto?

Larisa Munteanu
I am also glad that Metropolitan Saba is returning to Ontario. Daniela, from what I know, he used to serve mostly at St. George's Church in Toronto, so he'll probably be there again. The people there were really looking forward to it.

Yes, I also heard that at St. George's it was most often. Once I caught him there at a Sunday mass and he seemed very close to the people, he was even chatting after the service with the elders. Do you think he will still have time for the other parishes in Ontario or will he focus more on Toronto?
Р
Росица Стефанова
Yeah, I'm glad it's coming back too. I hear he will be serving primarily at St. George's Cathedral in Toronto, where he was before. Do you have relatives there, Daniela, or are you just watching from here?
Д
Даниела Христова
No, I don't have any relatives in Toronto, I just follow from here. I heard that St. George's Cathedral has really grown quite a bit in recent years. Did you go there on duty, Rosice?
М
Мариана Иванова
No, I haven't been to St George's for years, the last time was before my daughters started school. I hear there are many young families there now and their choir sings very well. And what do you use most often to follow their news - from Facebook or from the website of the diocese?

Viorica Lungu
Yes, I also heard that St. George's was his usual place. Once, when I was visiting my brother-in-law in Toronto, I happened upon a Sunday mass there and saw how he was talking to people after the service, even the elderly who could barely walk. I wonder if now, with so many young families, he will have time to go through the smaller parishes in Ontario as well.

I remember reading that St. George’s in Toronto has grown a lot with young families lately. It’s nice to hear Metropolitan Saba will be back there serving again — sounds like the older folks especially missed those talks after Liturgy. Does anyone know if he’ll still visit the smaller parishes around Ontario too?

Yes, I heard that St. George's Cathedral in Toronto is growing a lot with young families. The last time I visited was before my children grew up, and Bishop Saba was standing and talking to the elders after the mass. I hope he can visit other parishes in Ontario as well.

Кирил Митев
No, I'm from the website of the diocese, they put it in more detail there. I am glad that there are young families at St. George, this can be seen in the photos. Now, which church do you and your daughters go to most often?
S
Simona Ciobanu
Yes, Larisa, I also heard that St. George's was his main place. I think he will try to reach the smaller parishes in Ontario as well, because last year he served once in Hamilton and was left with the impression that the people there need him. Do you think he will still live in Toronto?
Б
Борис Николов
I am happy with you, Daniela. St. George's is really the main place, but I've heard that it will sometimes serve at the mission in Hamilton, where there is a smaller community. Have you ever been on duty there in Canada?
К
Красимира Колева
No, I haven't been there for a long time either, Rosice. The last time was at my son's christening over 20 years ago – the cathedral seemed a lot smaller then. And what do you most often learn about them from - YouTube videos?
ب
بشارة خوري
Yes, Laila, I heard the same thing about St. George's Cathedral. It has become full of young people and new families. When Bishop Saba visited us in Montreal two months ago, he spent a long time asking about our children in schools. Do your children start going with you to Mass, or are they still busy with their studies?
م
ميرنا حداد
Yes, Laila, I heard that the cathedral has a large group of young people helping with the service after Mass. The last time I visited, two years ago, there were young children running around in the lobby. I remembered the days when my children were at that age. Have you tried baking kaak with your daughters for the parish there?
К
Красимира Христова
Yes, it is from YouTube videos that I mostly follow what is happening there. The cathedral does look bigger on record than I remember it from the 90s. And where does your son live now, did he stay in Canada?
ي
يوسف صايغ
Yes, Mirna, it is true that the youth are actively helping after Mass, and this makes the heart happy. I tried baking kaak with my daughters twice for the parish here, but I couldn't finish it every week because I was busy in the shop. Are you still baking for the cathedral or are you focusing on your grandchildren?
К
Кирил Митев
Yes, the YouTube videos really give a good idea, especially from the last mass. My older son stayed in Toronto, working there as an electrician for 12 years now. And when was the last time you went to the cathedral, Krasimira?
Б
Борис Марков
Yes, the videos of the last mass are very lively, especially the choir. My son is also in Canada but in Calgary - he has been working as an accountant in a construction company for 8 years now. And you, Kirill, have you visited him recently in Toronto or do you only hear each other on Skype?
ف
فادي صايغ
Yes, Joseph, it is true that we are talking about young people. Their activity after Mass has become a lot easier for adults. I still bake for the cathedral only once every two weeks, and the rest is my time for the children and the garden. And you, how did the kaak that you baked with your daughters succeed or did you feel anything was missing?
Д
Десислава Илиева
Yes, the videos really capture the spirit of the service, especially when the choir sings. My brother-in-law has also been in Canada for 10 years, but in Montreal. Kirill, have you been to Toronto recently to see your son or do you only communicate via video?
М
Мариана Тодорова
Yes, the choir really takes the whole service to another level. My son has been in Toronto for four years now, I went to see him last summer, but since then we only hear from each other via video - time flies. And what does your brother-in-law do in Montreal?
К
Красимира Христова
Yes, the choir really makes the service livelier. What is your son doing in Toronto, Mariana? My brother-in-law in Montreal works for a construction company, but lately he's been complaining about the cold there.
