Bogdana Monastery celebrated its patron: PS Nectarie de Bogdania evoked the model of St. Leontie from Rădăuțitranslated

The Bogdana monastery in Suceava county celebrated its patron, St. Leontie from Rădăuți, on Wednesday. On this occasion, Bishop Vicar Nectarie de Bogdania evoked the model of the holy hierarch.

His Eminence officiated the Holy Liturgy together with His Eminence Father Damaschin Dorneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți.

The hierarch showed that Saint Hierarch Leontie from Rădăuți remained known for the sanctity of his life.

"He did not remain in the memory of the Church by speeches, by power or by influence, but by his pure life, by prayer and by love for Christ."

The Most Reverend Father Nectarie de Bogdania emphasized the true greatness of the saints: "They did not want to be known by people, they primarily wanted to be known by God."
