A 40-day funeral for PS Emilian Crișanul will be held in Aradtranslated

At the Old Cathedral in Arad, the 40-day vigil for the Most Reverend Father Emilian Crișanul will be celebrated.

On this occasion, clerics, monks and believers are invited to participate in the prayer on July 30, in memory of the former Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Arad.

The commemorative program will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the celebration of the Holy Liturgy, and from 11:00 a.m. the requiem service will be performed.

"We invite all those who valued and knew the Most Reverend Father Emilian Crișanul to unite in prayer, to ask the Merciful God to place his soul in the tents of the righteous," the representatives of the Archdiocese of Arad sent.

Short biography The Reverend Father Emilian Crișanul was born on February 12, 1972, in the town of Berezeni, Vaslui county, receiving the name Vlad at baptism. He entered the community of the Neamț Monastery in 1989, and in 1991 he was ordained a monk.
