The Pantocrator Monastery in Teleorman County celebrated its patron saint dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene on Wednesday.

Numerous pilgrims came to worship the relics of Saint Myronosita Maria Magdalena in the heritage of the monastery and the miracle-working icon of the Mother of God "The Gatekeeper" of the Holy Mount Athos.

Maria MüllerNice to see that so many pilgrims have come to Saint Mary Magdalene, especially for her relics. I have also seen the icon of the “Portărița” from Athos in a picture in our community. Hopefully the weather was good in Teleorman.
