Priest Pavel Chernyak took part in the regional “Zazhinki”translated

On July 14, 2026, the rector of the parish of the Church of the Prophet Elijah in the agricultural town of Naroch, Vileika district, Priest Pavel Chernyak took part in the regional celebration of the first sheaf “Zazhinki”.

The priest addressed those present with a welcoming speech and sprinkled holy water on the combine operators and grain harvesting equipment.

Father Pavle did it beautifully, just in time for the harvest. Combine harvesters sure appreciate it when someone blesses them before they hit the field. Thank God that this year, Zažinki is sticking to its old ways.
