Today, September 9, 2026, a press conference was held in the Yekaterinburg TASS press center dedicated to the bringing of the great Christian shrine - the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimythous - to the Church-Monument on the Blood.

The press conference was attended by the head of the Department for Relations between the Church and Society and the Media of the Yekaterinburg Diocese, the senior priest of the Church on the Blood, Archpriest Maxim Minyailo, the head of the volunteer service of the Orthodox Mercy Service Tatyana Vladimirovna Lipatseva and the deputy head of the youth volunteer circle of the “Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders” Igor Bataruev.

The Ark with the right hand of St. Spyridon will be delivered to the Church-Monument on the Blood on September 11 at 21:00 and will remain there until 14:00 on Sunday September 13. Access to the shrine will be open around the clock.
