Congratulations to Mgr Michael for these 30 years of episcopate! It is impressive to see that he also marked 45 years since his diaconal ordination on the same day of the Feast of the Apostles. May the Lord give him many more beautiful years in prayer and rest.

I congratulate Archbishop Michael on 30 years of episcopal service. It is nice that it fell on the Feast of the Apostles, just like his deacon ordination 45 years ago. May he have peace and health in his retirement for prayers.

Congratulations to Archbishop Michael on his 30 years of episcopate! It's nice that everything came together on the day of the Holy Apostles, like his diaconal ordination 45 years ago. May God help him to have peace and health in his retirement.

Congratulations to Bishop Michael Hall for 30 years as an episcopate, especially since today is the same day as the Feast of the Apostles on which he was ordained a deacon 45 years ago. May God give him health and peace in retirement and bless his prayers.

Congratulations to Archbishop Michael on 30 years as bishop! I was impressed that he received both services on the Feast of the Apostles, as it is written. May God grant him health and peace in his retirement, with time for prayer and gardening.

Yes, I agree, the timing with the feast of the apostles is really nice. Archbishop Michael always reminded us here in Olomouc how important quiet prayer is even in retirement, so I hope he will now finally find enough time for it.

I like how everything lined up on the Feast of the Apostles again after 45 years. Archbishop Michael always made quiet prayer sound like the most practical thing a bishop could do, even back when he was in Olomouc. Hope he’s enjoying the garden and the extra time for it now.

Yes, it is beautiful to see that he received both ordinations on the same day from the Holy Apostles. I hope he enjoys his garden now that he is retired, it looks just like him. May the Lord keep him in good health.

I agree, the coincidence with the Feast of the Apostles is really nice. I remember how Archbishop Michael in Brno once told us that even in retirement it is most important to keep a regular time for prayer so that one does not lose the thread. I hope that his health will last at least for the morning psalter readings.

Yes, the coincidence with the Feast of the Apostles is really nice. I remember how he once told us in Brno that even in the kitchen you can pray calmly between cooking. I hope that now that he is retired, he really finds more time for that prayer than all of us working people.

Thank you, Daniela, I was also glad that everything fell exactly on the day of the Holy Apostles. Archbishop Michael has served patiently for so many years, now he deserves the quiet of the garden and prayer. God bless him with good health!

Yes, it’s true that the two ordinations on the same day of the Holy Apostles is something remarkable. I heard that he spends a lot of time taking care of his rose bushes now, he was talking about it again last year at the parish. Let's pray that he keeps his strength.

Yes, I also noticed that it fell exactly on the day of the Holy Apostles, as if it was a sign. Archbishop Michael really served patiently, I saw him several times in Cluj. May God keep him healthy and may he now enjoy the peace of the garden.

Yes, the day of the Holy Apostles really seems a good omen for a bishop who served so patiently. I also saw him once in Cluj, at a liturgy, and I remembered how calmly he spoke. God help him to enjoy the tomatoes in the garden now, as I have some just beginning to ripen.

Yes, the day of the Holy Apostles really came as a beautiful sign after so much service. I also saw him in Cluj a few years ago, at an evening liturgy, and I liked how he spoke rarely and clearly, without haste. Now, with the quiet in the garden, I hope he will have time to read the Lives of the Saints too, because I also take them with me when weeding.

Yes, I also liked how he spoke quietly, without haste, as if he was pulling you into prayer too. He came to us in Timișoara a few years ago to a service and blessed some flowers that some old women had brought - that small gesture stayed in my mind. I hope they get some sweet tomatoes and peace, they deserve it.

Yes, I heard about that calmness of his, as if he was never in a hurry. Tomatoes from the garden are a good retirement gift, especially when you pick them in the morning with dew on them. What variety did you plant this year, Marius?

Yes, he spoke very rarely and clearly, I also remembered it from a job I went to with my mother. The Garden and Lives of the Saints sounds like a good combination now, especially since at the store I still try to read at least one page before bed. Do you have a saintly life that you enjoyed most in weeding?
S
Simona Tudor
Yes, I also remember how he spoke rarely and pressed, as if every word weighed. In weeding I liked the life of St. Seraphim of Sarov the most, especially the part with the bear coming to him - it makes me smile when I'm pulling weeds. What saint are you reading tonight?
