Archbishop Savva performed an akathist before the locally revered image of the Mother of God “Seeking the Lost”translated

On June 26, on the heel of the 4th week after Pentecost, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary performed an akathist in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ before the locally revered image of the Most Holy Theotokos “Seeking the Lost” of Tiraspol.
Concelebrating with the Most Reverend Bishop was the dean of the Bendery district, Archpriest Mikhail Lungu, the clergy of the cathedral and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, as well as the cleric of the Central Deanery, Priest Andrei Kudra.
At the end of the akathist singing, the Archpastor offered a prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos. Then the clergy and numerous pilgrims “with one mouth and one heart” sang the glory of the Queen of Heaven and venerated Her locally revered image.
