رئيس دير إسفيغمينو يحتفل مع المتروبوليت إبيفاني في كييفمترجم

في 12 يوليو 2026، احتفل الأرشمندريت برثلماوس، رئيس دير إسفيغمينو على جبل آثوس، مع أخوية الدير، بالقداس الإلهي مع متروبوليت إيبيفانيوس متروبوليت كييف وسائر أوكرانيا في كنيسة رئيس الملائكة ميخائيل في كييف.

وبعد القداس الإلهي، استقبل المتروبوليت ابيفانيوس رئيس الدير والآباء الآثوسيين في مقر المطران، حيث عقد الجانبان لقاءً ودياً.

وخلال اللقاء، أعرب رئيس الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية في أوكرانيا عن خالص امتنانه للأرشمندريت برثلماوس والوفد المرافق له على تواجدهم في كييف وسط التحديات المستمرة التي تواجه البلاد.

وشدد المتروبوليت إبيفاني على أهمية الزيارة، مشيرًا إلى أن الآباء الأثوسيين حملوا رسالة أمل بسفرهم إلى أوكرانيا رغم المخاوف والصعوبات التي سببتها الحرب.

قال المتروبوليت إبيفاني: “لقد جلب وجودكم هنا فرحًا هائلاً ووفر التشجيع الروحي للعديد من الأشخاص الذين يخضعون للاختبار يوميًا”.

وفي رده، سلط الأرشمندريت برثلماوس الضوء على مركزية المحبة المسيحية، مقتبسًا كلمات الكتاب المقدس: "المحبة الكاملة تطرح الخوف إلى خارج".

It's good to see monks from Athos coming all the way to Kyiv. The quote from Archimandrite Bartholomew about perfect love casting out fear is spot on, especially with everything that's going on.
