The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ioannina, Mr. Maximos, went on Friday, July 31, 2026, to the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary in the city of Ioannina, where food was distributed and then officiated during the Vespers Service. The distribution of food was carried out with the cooperation of the charity program "Together, where there is a need", the Charity Organization of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens "APOSTOLI" and the company "Diamantis Masoutis S.A.", as well as SYN-ENOSIS, the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Hellenic Armed Forces, offering substantial support to families and our fellow citizens who are being tested.
