Третье Кафолическое Послание cв. Апостола Иоанна

1) The Elder - to my beloved Guy, whom I love in truth. 2) Dearest Beloved! I pray for everything, that you may prosper, advance and be healthy, just as your soul prospers. 3) I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came and testified to your [fidelity to] the truth, how you walk in the truth. 4) For me there is no greater grace than this, that my children walk in the truth. 5) Beloved! You act correctly in what you do for the brothers and for the strangers, 6) who have given testimony of your love in the face of the Church. When you do good, conduct them worthily before God. 7) For they went for His Name's sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. 8) So, we must accept such in order to be fellow workers with the truth. 9) I probably wrote to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to give them primacy, does not accept us. 10) For this reason, if I come, I will remind you of the deeds that he does, blaspheming us with vile words, and, as if this is not enough for him, he himself does not accept the brothers, and forbids those who accept them and casts them out of the church. 11) Beloved! Do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God. 12) Testimony was given about Demetrius from everyone and from the truth itself; We also testify, and you know that our testimony is true. 13) I had a lot to write to you, but I don’t want to write to you with ink and kalam /sharpened reed/. 14) I hope to see you soon and talk mouth to mouth.
