Although they travel a lot from you, hardly any of those traveling from your side will soon make their way to where we are now. Despite all this, this is not enough for us to explain why we have never received a letter from you. We could also refer to this pretext; however, we are not silent like you, but, having gathered my master, the most honest and most reverent presbyter, on the journey, we send him from here, among other things, to visit your honesty, to bring you our present greeting and to find out about your health, which is the subject of our ardent well-wishes. Meet him favorably, with love and affection, as if partly of ourselves, and when he gets ready to return, do not make it a point to notify us of his prosperity.
