Remember us in your prayer, brothers, 2 Thess. 3:1. may the word of God spread through the works of his hearers in all places, 2 Sol.3:2. And let us get rid of disorderly and crafty people, that is, from persecutors and hypocrites, for not... everyone has [not everyone is given] faith, although out of our love we zealously proclaim it to every person. 2 Sol.3:5. So, if you needed a role model, that was us - if you needed a word, we spoke, if you needed a message, we wrote, 2 Thess. 3:10. that whoever does not want to work should not eat. 2 Sol.3:11. For we have now heard that some of you... behave disorderly... and do nothing, I but by being deceitful and indulging in idleness, they harm their neighbors and destroy their souls. 2 Sol.3:12. Those who are the essence, We exhort [them] that... working in silence,... their bread... eat. In the words: “with silence... let them work” we mean those of them who preached about the Day of the Lord, that it was already coming, saying: why should we work if the coming of the Lord is already coming, so that not only did they themselves do nothing, but they also distracted others from the work. 2 Sol.3:13. But you, brother, do not lose heart in doing good, 2 Sol.3:14. If anyone does not listen to our word, take note and do not communicate with him, so that he may be ashamed. 2 Sol.3:15. However, not as an enemy... consider... him, so as not to deprive him of the benefit that he can have from his neighbor, like a cut off and rejected member from a perfect body. 2 Sol.3:16. May the Lord of peace Himself always give you peace in everything, that is, which you once received and which you have in love, let both be yours.
