Epistle to the Philippians

A great persecution was instituted against Paul in the very city of the Philippians (Acts 16:19). Along with the apostle, the Philippians were also in danger. With Paul's departure from there, the persecution against them was renewed. So, when Paul heard about their persecution from the persecutors and from the Jews, who inspired and insisted on them that they should be circumcised and fulfill the prescriptions of the law, he neglected the concerns of those tribulations that surrounded him in the city of Rome, and wrote about both of them to the Philippians from Rome, saying this: You might be interested in:
