A ban on one ritual associated with the Nativity of Christ.
Confessing that the Divine birth from the Virgin was seedless and painless (ἀλόχευτον), and preaching this to the entire flock, we admonish those who, out of ignorance, do something inappropriate. It turned out that after the day of the Holy Nativity of Christ our God, some prepare bread from wheat flour and pass it on to each other under the pretext of supposedly honoring the birth (λοχειῶν) of the All-Immaculate Virgin Mother, therefore we decree that believers should not do anything like that. For to describe and imagine Her indescribable birth according to the example of what is usual and characteristic of us does not mean to give honor to the Virgin, who above mind and word gave birth to the incontainable Word in the flesh. So, if anyone from now on is caught doing something similar, then if he is a cleric, he will be deposed, and if he is a layman, he will be excommunicated.
