About the prohibition for lay people to enter the altar (except for the king to bring gifts to God).
Let no one from among the laity be allowed to enter the sacred altar, although according to some ancient custom this is by no means prohibited to the royal power and power when it wants to bring gifts to the Creator.

Μὴ ἐξέστω τινὶ τῶν ἁπάντων ἐν λαϊκοῖς τελοῦντι, ἔνδον ἱεροῦ εἰσιέναι θυσιαστηρίου· μηδαμῶς ἐπὶ τοῦτο τῆς βασιλικῆς εἰργομένης ἐξουσίας καὶ αὐθεντίας, ἡνίκα ἂν βουληθείη προσάξαι δῶρα τῷ πλάσαντι, κατά τινα ἀρχαιοτάτην παράδοσιν.
