That a bishop can leave his see for more than three weeks in the event of violence or innocent conviction.
They made a decision: if a bishop, having suffered violence, is unjustly expelled either for his knowledge, or for his profession of the Catholic Church, or for defending the truth, and although he is innocent, he is nevertheless subject to accusation and, avoiding danger, comes to another city, he should not be prevented from living there until he returns or has the opportunity to get rid of the offense inflicted on him. After all, it would be merciless and extremely cruel on our part not to accept someone who has suffered an unjust expulsion: such a person should be received with the greatest goodwill and friendliness.

Ὅσιος ἐπίσκοπος εἶπεν· Ὑποβάλλοντος καὶ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ ἡμῶν Ὀλυμπίου, καὶ τοῦτο ἤρεσεν, ἵνα, εἴ τις ἐπίσκοπος βίαν ὑπομείνας ἀδίκως ἐκβληθείη, ἢ διὰ τὴν ἐπιστήμην, ἢ διὰ τὴν ὁμολογίαν τῆς καθολικῆς ἐκκλησίας, ἢ διὰ τὴν τῆς ἀληθείας ἐκδικίαν, καὶ φεύγων τὸν κίνδυνον, ἀθῷος καὶ καθωσιωμένος ὤν, εἰς ἑτέραν ἔλθοι πόλιν, μὴ κωλυέσθω ἐκεῖ ἐπὶ τοσοῦτον διάγειν, ἕως ἂν ἐπανέλθῃ, ἢ τῆς ὕβρεως τῆς γεγενημένης αὐτῷ ἀπαλλαγὴν εὑρέσθαι δυνηθῇ· σκληρὸν γὰρ καὶ βαρύτατον, ἐλασίαν ἄδικον ὑπομεμενηκότα μὴ ὑποδέχεσθαι ὑφ᾽ ἡμῶν· πλείστῃ γὰρ καλοκαγαθίᾳ καὶ φιλοφρονήσει ὀφείλει παραδέχεσθαι ὁ τοιοῦτος.
